About our ingredients
100% Plant-based wax.
We use rapeseed wax; a biodegradable, clean-burning, and locally grown renewable source from European fields. It ensures low environmental impact and avoids the deforestation linked to palm and soy wax.
To protect biodiversity and avoid natural allergens from some essential oils or animal ingredients, we choose fragrance oils crafted by expert perfumers in Grasse, France. Free from phthalates, petroleum, CMRs, parabens, and animal-derived substances.

I am María, founder of HAUS NEUN, a Cologne-based studio dedicated to crafting artisanal candles with a clean and sustainable approach.
With a background in architecture, I see space not only as structure but as atmosphere. I learned how light shapes a room and its mood and I came to value compositions, details and craftsmanship as well. The artistry, precision, and soul that go into every handmade creation have always captivated me.
Driven by curiosity and a desire for new challenges, I now choose to work with my hands and my senses to create distinctive olfactory compositions. I believe that scent has the power to define, transport, and comfort in an intimate and personal way. That is why every blend I create tells a story of my own, a memory carefully captured.
